Meet Danielle

Danielle Soto is a Chilean Jew from Boston, Massachusetts who moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in stand up comedy and television writing.

Danielle began performing stand up in and around the Boston area in December of 2010.  Since then, she has performed in many exciting cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Ledyard Connecticut.  She has also had the honor of sharing the stage with some of her favorite comedians, including Ralphie May and Lenny Clarke.  She has also participated in many festivals including The Women In Comedy Festival, She-Devil Festival, and Chicago’s Women’s Funny Festival.

In June of 2014, Danielle quit her job in a Dermatology clinic and packed two large suitcases (managing to fit all 7 seasons of the Golden Girls on DVD inside).  With mixed emotions, she boarded the plane with her one-way ticket to Los Angeles.  Since then, Danielle has performed at The World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, Flappers in Burbank, and at The Improv in Brea, as well as many clubs and bars in the surrounding areas.

In April of 2015, Danielle released the first episode of her podcast, Dr. Cheesecake.  The podcast uses episodes of The Golden Girls to solve the life problems of her guests.  Past guests have included Cracked.com writer Adam Tod Brown, and touring comedian Tommy Rico.
